Day 87 – Rest
Today is my rest day! I enjoy my rest day, but am to the point where I really like to workout and feel good about it. So my rest days are not as coveted as before. Still, I try to take it easy and let my body rest and recover some.
Tomorrow is Kenpo X, but I may take advantage of my wife and kids being out of town and go and do an hour and one-half hour hike with my pack on. I need to get some of that training in for Mt. Whitney, and I am sure I will be burning as many calories doing that as I would in Kenpo. It all depends on the weather. I suppose I should stick with the program since I have only missed one day in the past 87 and that was due to my throwing up, but on the other hand it’s not like I am sleeping in.
